Paul began his adventure with Westbay Community Action in December 2003 and became President/CEO in June 2014. He believes in Westbay’s mission and that of Community Action overall. Paul is truly a champion of “Helping People, Changing Lives.”
Paul graduated with a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Curry College, Milton, MA, in 1995 and received his master’s degree in counseling from Rhode Island College in 1997. Paul has almost 30 years of experience in Social Services, with more than 20 of those in management. Not only does Paul lead Westbay with great conviction, but he also sits on many boards and committees throughout the State of Rhode Island and New England, representing both Westbay and the residents of Kent County.
Paul believes that to assist those who come to Westbay with a need, it is important not to offer a “hand out” but a “hand up.”
When he is not at work, he enjoys playing ice hockey, golfing, and watching his children participate in high school and college athletics.
Paul lives in Massachusetts with his wife, Sarah, and three children: Jake, Taegan, and Gavin.
