Important Update from RI DHS regarding the RIBridges Data Breach
The RIBridges system, used for determining public assistance eligibility, is temporarily unavailable due to a cyberattack and data breach. Those directly impacted will receive a letter from the State of Rhode Island.
Here’s how you can stay informed:
- Virtual Info Session: Monday, Dec. 16, at 1 PM. Join the Rhode Island Department of Human Services to learn more about the breach. - Breach Hotline: Opens today, Sunday, Dec. 15th, from 11 AM–8 PM. Regular hours will be Mon–Fri, 9 AM–9 PM. The hotline number is 833-918-6603 and the reference number for the RI incident is B137035. Click HERE to submit questions about the breach, access updates, and find safety tips.
- New Applications: Customers can apply for benefits via paper applications at regional offices or secure drop boxes. Forms are available in multiple languages HERE.
