Our Preschool 3 class offers an enriching integrative learning environment for children aged 3 and 4. Play remains primary, as children add more cooperative, imaginative and sustained play activity.

Children learn through exploration and daily play-based activities.

Field trips and presentations by “in house” guests support learning.
Staffing
At Westbay Children’s Center, you’ll find a caring staff and teachers with early childhood degrees.
Educational Goals
Social
At this age, children learn how to share and play cooperatively. They can begin to participate in large group activities.
Cognitive
We encourage children to gain awareness of language and sentence structure through daily conversations with staff.
Emotional
The teachers encourage the children to develop self-help skills by verbally asking for help, putting their coats on and using the bathroom as examples.
Physical
They are gaining control of their bodies, particularly their large muscles, using their arms and legs for coordination.
